People are complex beings.  We all have the hallmarks of our past.  Our ability to form deep, complex interpersonal relationships makes us unique amongst all species on the planet.  Ironically, it is these relationships that usually cause us the most pain and difficulty.

Our lives are a tangled mosaic of different relationships: from close familial ties, deep bonds with friends from our childhood, to office politics and the interaction we have with strangers on public transport.  Relationships are the glue that hold our society together; they are also a source of great anxiety to many people.

With insight and knowledge, we can learn strategies to handle even the most complex relationships and social interactions.
